Leftist Rag Salon Whines That Gun Sales Explode After Shootings

For decades now, Jews have been jumping on every mass shooting to promote gun control and pass more restrictive gun laws. Americans have learned this pattern, and will rush to buy guns on each of those occasions while they still can.

But the slimy scum have managed to come up with a different explanation for the spike in gun sales: racism.

Yawn.

Even though the mass shooting in Orlando over the weekend is the largest in our nation’s history, the fallout is following a standard pattern, a narrative so well-worn that it’s impossible not to become numb to it: Liberals call for gun control, conservatives act like you are trying to take away their precious babies, nothing gets done, everyone eventually drifts away until the next horrible mass shooting.

Oh yeah, and the gun industry makes an absolute mint.

Nothing gets done, bitch? If it wasn’t for the liberal whining, we wouldn’t have gun free zones on military bases, assault weapons bans, bans on concealed carry or other firearms restrictions. All that stuff is unconstitutional.

But of course, in a liberal’s mind, if it’s still permitted to own a firearm legally for any reason then “nothing got done.”

Guns are completely banned pretty much everywhere in western Europe. That’s why they have no problems with Haji violence. Oh wait.

The gun lobby has ever reason to dig its heels in harder against gun control after a mass shooting, because high profile mass murder is a big driver of sales and profits for the gun industry. This shooting was no different. While sales numbers aren’t in yet, as soon as the stock market opened Monday, gun manufacturers saw a spike in stock prices.

“B-but… Muh gun lobby!”

It’s a vicious cycle. Every time there’s a mass shooting, there’s a surge in sales in guns and ammo, coupled with even more pressure from conservatives on their legislators to make it easier to buy guns. That means more guns and more fetishizing of guns, all of which just encourages more men with rage and masculinity issues to unload their guns into the bodies of family members, coworkers, or, in the most high profile cases, a bunch of random strangers.That’s why we have had 133 mass shootings in this year alone.

Yeah… “Men” with “masculinity issues” are the problem. Just to be clear, this bitch is a well known feminist activist:

Research shows that there’s a strong correlation between gun ownership, especially enthusiastic gun ownership, and racism.

In a study published in PLoS in 2013, researchers found a strong link between gun enthusiasm and holding racist beliefs.

The results suggest that the belief that people of color present a threat to one’s safety increases interest, among white people at least, in owning a gun. This particular study was looking at anti-black racism specifically, but common sense would suggest that holding similar views about Muslim Americans — that they are violent or dangerous — would also increase interest amongst white, conservative crowds in buying guns.

People of color represent a threat to one’s safety? Now, where could anybody get that idea?

All this kvetching about guns is pure hypocrisy. You can be sure that all these congressmen have armed bodyguards.

A major reason for all this dumb gun control rhetoric after every mass shooting is to redirect the blame away from protected minorities. It’s much more comfortable for liberals to whine about guns than confront the facts of black criminality or Moslem terrorism.

But the spike in gun sales is proof that people just aren’t buying it.
