So no one in the Alt-Right is even talking about this DC “Unite the Right 2” rally, other than to denounce it.
I have officially denounced it in a written statement, then was given an opportunity to rant about it on a recent TDS podcast.
But it isn’t something I’m thinking about much.
Shitlibs, on the other hand, are talking about it nonstop.
And signaling.
Because it’s such a great opportunity to get accolades from the Jewish Overlords and their priest class in the media.
In advance of the rally, the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) sent out a toolkit for business owners with legal information about their rights to refuse service to white nationalists and other political fringe groups. A similar document was disseminated in January around Trump’s inauguration —fresh off the heels of Pizzagate, when a gunman fired shots inside Comet Ping Pong while investigating the wild conspiracy theory. Still, Founding Famers restaurateur Dan Simons says Unite the Right is a different scenario altogether for his restaurants, one of which is located a few blocks from the rally.
“For me this isn’t political. It’s not partisan. I have no comment on the Trump administration,” says Simons. “But it’s a really big topic. My team, people are nervous. They’re offended. They’re scared to take public transportation.”
Simons operates three Farmers restaurants in DC, and one in Tysons near where the Unite the Right group is organizing to take the Metro (their route is Vienna to Foggy Bottom). His team is treating Sunday’s influx of white supremacists like a snowstorm in August. Similar to a weather emergency, any employee who’s nervous about getting to and from work safely can expense alternative transportation, ask to be picked up, or take the day off. Simons is also prepared to refuse service to anyone bearing white nationalist or Nazi symbols or attire, or harassing employees.
Yes.
Because a Neo-Nazi gang rushing your bar and harassing employees is a realistic scenario.
“Our mentality is we’re going to protect each other. This is our city. Our house. Our people,” says Simons. “There are times when a guest can be rude to an employee and you swap out the server. We’ve told our team: this isn’t what that is. You don’t have to be in a room with someone who’s advocating for your death and enslavement.”
I don’t even think the cartoon people going to this rally are actively advocating for the death and enslavement of anyone.
Also: what would be the purpose of enslaving a dead person?
Other restaurants are shutting altogether. Alan Popovsky, who owns a string of presidentially themed restaurants in DC, will serve Sunday brunch at Lincolndowntown—even though he says business is down 30 percent all weekend due to the rally—and then close for dinner. He said the decision was made after his staff voiced concerns about their safety. In the meantime, Popovsky printed out a message that’ll be posted on the doors of all his restaurants.
“We’re really trying to bestow our image of these Presidents and what they represented—freedom and equality.”
Ellen Kassoff Gray and chef Todd Gray have operated Equinox restaurant near the White House for nearly 20 years and thought they’d “seen it all” when it comes to protests in nearby Lafayette Square. They’ve never closed during protests, and aren’t this weekend—though like other restaurateurs, Kassoff Gray expects business to “severely suffer” this weekend as regular downtown customers avoid the hate groups.
“I’ll proudly stay open and serve those who’re respectful and kind. But being a Jewish restaurant owner and having a pro-Nazi group come to town, would I refuse service? Yes, I would,” says Kassoff Gray.
Please note: if you own a neo-Nazi cake shop, you have to bake cakes for Jews.
It’s federal law.
Although it is dumb to even point out and I am tired of pointing it out.
What Should I Fill The Rest of This Space With?
There are several things I could write in this space right now:
- My views on what this rally is going to result in
- The fact that this rally is empowering the left, before it has even happened
- Being banned from eating food because of your political beliefs
- The idiocy of the terms “neo-Nazi” and “white supremacist” being used non-ironically, and the visions that shitlibs actually have of the Alt-Right being a bunch of American History X-style neo-Nazi gangs
All important topics. All on my mind right now.
hmm.
Well, first: I hope the rally isn’t a trap. I hope that there isn’t a federal agent involved to provoke a shooting. I hope some fed controlled satanic group doesn’t set off a bomb. I hope there is no disaster.
The best case scenario is that few people show up, a whole bunch of antifa show up, the police keep order, nothing disastrous happens, and the Alt-Right is simply mocked as being dead.
They are printing all these articles about how the Alt-Right is dead. How it fractured. Etc. Whatever.
What I know is that 95% of traffic of the Alt-Right was the The Daily Stormer, The Right Stuff and 4chan, and all of these sites have more traffic and more notoriety than they had at this time last year.
I’ve never felt better about our position. The death of this protest movement idea and the media reformulating their plan on dealing with us are both very good developments.
The fact that there was a weird attempt to turn the Alt-Right into a political protest movement, and that didn’t work out, is irrelevant to the continued effect that we are having on society and culture.
This was always about ideas. Period. And the ideas are spreading. They are spreading online, they are spreading from person to person.
We have a solid, comprehensive worldview, and an answer to all political questions. No one else has that. We are going to be popular no matter what, because of the conditions that the communist Chinese created in this country and across the entire planet.
You cannot shut down an idea.
There are so many quotes to this effect.
We have already won.
The driving race consciousness is pushing us toward terrible purpose.
There is no way out of this.
Events have been set in motion, and there is only one possible outcome, and that is the unfolding of the Golden Path. The liberation of the white race from its enslavement to the Jew and his material, sensuous trickery.
A storm is coming.
Our storm.
And when it arrives, it will shake the universe.
