In Bizarro World, Batman is the world’s worst detective. His name is “Batzarro.”
Just so, Lex Fridman is the Bizarro World version of Joe Rogan. Lex Fridman is the world’s worst podcaster. He started his show based entirely on the Rogan model, and got popular purely as a result of Jewish nepotism.
You can say what you want about Joe Rogan. I have some negative things to say about him. But he has a good podcast. He has all of the traits of a good podcaster: he’s friendly, well-informed, charismatic, good at talking to people, curious and interested in things. Joe is the kind of guy that anyone would feel comfortable talking to, and this comes out in his interviews, as he gets the most interesting conversations out of people. Fridman is the opposite of all of that.
But Lex and Volognomdomor Zielinseyyyieyy are cousins, so the Ukrainian dictator did his big Western media interview with Bizarre Joe Rogan instead of the normal world’s Joe Rogan.
The show was horrible. As horrible as you can imagine.
I didn’t watch the whole thing, because who has time for that, but several people did watch it, apparently, and it’s clear that Lex agreed beforehand not to ask any questions about the war which were not pre-scripted.
In the clips, you can see Zelensky saying ridiculous, nonsense things, and Lex doesn’t push back.
Zelensky said that Putin was planning to invade and conquer all of Europe.

I would think even like, a CNN host would push back on that. No one anywhere thinks that. Certainly, podcast audiences tend to be better informed than TV watchers, and I think even Ukraine supporters (trannies, neo-Nazis) know this isn’t true. They’ll say Putin will invade Poland, maybe, but to say he’s going to “destroy Europe” is like a parody of hysterical trannies.
Zelensky took the opportunity of the interview to call for the Ukraine to be allowed in NATO.
He admitted that Trump would have to support him, because European allies don’t have the military to defend the Ukraine. Lex of course did not ask why, if Putin is getting ready to conquer Europe and Europeans can’t fight him, they are not doing mass conscription and building up a huge military to repel the Russian invasion. It seems like even a very stupid person would be asking that question in his head, but Lex pretends as though he didn’t think of it. (Maybe he didn’t; he does appear uniquely dumb. But that further shows how ridiculous it is that Zelensky appeared on his show instead of with Joe or Tucker Carlson.)
Lex did ask if “Ukraine people” could simply forgive Russia.
Zelensky responded by claiming that Russians were ripping the heads off of babies and no one could ever be forgiven for such an action.

Obviously, this is part of an attempt by Zelensky’s people to get some kind of inroads into Western internet culture as they are trying to cozy up to Donald Trump. But the handlers are too uptight. He could have done a normal interview with Joe Rogan, without a translator (his English is fine, frankly, but they used dubbing for the most of the show because Lex speaks Russian). Even if Joe would have pressed him on some of the issues, it would come off better than this garbage, which should, frankly, destroy Lex’ career. This is an abomination, to present this fake interview, a propaganda piece for the war, as real internet journalism.
No one is going to take this seriously.
Maybe Donald Trump will continue to support the war. He has definitely wobbled bigly on the issue. But Zelensky is not making that any easier. There is a certain level of lies you can get away with, but telling people on the internet that Russia is going to march on Paris is beyond that level. Zelensky looks much worse for having done this stupid fake interview.
