Cries of ‘Allahu Akbar’ caused uproar during a commemoration for victims of a shooting in Munich. Nine people were killed by a German-Iranian at the Olympia shopping mall last week, with officials indicating a pre-planned attack.
Disturbing scenes were captured on camera and published by an Italian newspaper Il Fatto Quotidiano. Crowds have been paying their respects at the scene of the shooting at the Olympia on July 22. Suddenly, a young Muslim man expresses his outrage over the “unjust world.”
“Open up your eyes, the world is not that perfect, open up your eyes,” he is seen shouting. The same person is then seen being hugged by a bystander.
However, the mood boils over after cries of “Allahu Akbar” (God is great) are heard at the gathering. It is not clear from the video as to who exactly chanted the words. Austrian media outlet Unser Tirol claims the chant came from the side of “IS [Islamic State, formerly ISIS] sympathizers” among the crowds of Muslim men.
Last week German media, citing an eyewitness, reported that the Munich mall attacker also shouted “Allahu Akbar” during the assault. German authorities neither confirmed nor denied the allegation.
“You are doing an IS sign. Look he is doing an IS sign,” one man is heard shouting in the video of commemoration. The angle of the footage however does not give a proper view as to what, if any, gestures are being done or who exactly does them.
The calls of “Allahu Akbar” immediately cause a furor among a group of German males, who hit back “Shut up with that ‘Allahu Akbar’ shit, f**k you mother f***er.”
This reaction prompts someone from the thick of the gathering to try and calm things down.
“Have respect, it’s a commemoration,” the voice says, though it’s not clear which part of the crowd it came from.
“Allahu Akbar” is chanted several more times, triggering more fierce response from the German males. Some of them question police over not interfering in the verbal conflict.
“Where is the police, where is the police,” a man is seen shouting. Officers in riot gear then appear at the scene, trying to separate the lines of people. No arrests were made.
Someone needs to tell these Moslems that Ali David Sonboy (or as the BBC likes to call him “David Sonboy”) didn’t do this terrorist attack for Islamic reasons!
He did it because:
- He was bullied at school
- He played too many violent video games
- He was a loner
- He had mental problems
- Anders Breivik
Nothing at all to do with Islam!
Of course, we have no evidence that these Moslems who went to the scene of the murder and started praising Allah had a motive related to Islam for doing this. They could have went to the site of a mass murder by a Moslem to praise Allah because they played too much Grand Theft Auto, or because of Anders Breivik.
We just don’t have the evidence yet to make any determinations.
Who knows what this guy is doing? We just assume he’s thanking Allah for a mass murder by a Moslem because of the color of his skin, plus the position his body is in? That’s just racist. Maybe he was just looking for Pokemon and fell down. We need more evidence.
