It seems as if Jews cause trouble anywhere they go. Even on a visit to Auschwitz with a film crew, a leader from Rome’s Jewish community manage to create trouble.
For some reason they were filming until 11 pm at night and they found themselves locked inside one of the buildings. Eventually they climbed out of a window setting off a security alarm which resulted in a police response.
I could make countless jokes about this, but that would be too easy. I’m sure most of you in the comments section will have a field day with this.
The president of Rome’s Jewish community has sparked a minor diplomatic incident after becoming locked in Auschwitz overnight along with an Italian TV crew.
Riccardo Pacifici was filming an episode of a TV program from the infamous Holocaust concentration camp in Poland when the group of five people found themselves locked in around 11pm, reports Israeli news website Haaretz.
The group had been granted permission to film live from the site, near Krakow, to mark 70 years since the Nazi death camp was liberated by Soviet troops.
No one responded to their calls for help so, after several hours, the group climbed out through an open window, setting off a security alarm that sent police rushing to the scene.
