His physiognomy is more goy than Jew, which I believe is relevant.
Oliver Stone is half Jewish.
It’s the father that is the Jewish half, so he isn’t Jewish by Jew legal standards. And he was raised Christian. He is now a practicing Buddhist.
So, he’s a weird one.
His materials tend to be, in my experience, between 35-40% Jewish. I think he has made some good fictional movies. He wrote the screenplays for both Midnight Express and Scarface, both of which I think were very good and not especially Jewish in nature. Well, the ultra-violence of these films could be considered Jewish – I don’t have a strong opinion on that.
I do think the ultra violence of Natural Born Killers was Jewish, given that it was effectively a provocation for young people. There were multiple acts of violence committed by young people copycatting this film. Note that that film was written by shabbos-extrordinaire Quintin Tarantino.
Most of his films in the 80s were just solid, good movies. I would say that Wall Street was the best. Or perhaps Platoon. Either of those could be considered his prime masterpiece.
Most of the films in the 90s and 00s were Jewish in that they simply were not very good.
U Turn was okay, if I recall.
Any Given Sunday was especially bad.
As was Alexander , a biopic on Alexander the Great, which made a point of playing up the unestablished myth that the great king was a homosexual.
I have heard that Snowden was not quite as bad, though I did not watch it, so cannot confirm. It certainly did not do very well at the box office.
His political activism and non-fiction work has been equally mixed in nature.
He has supported communism and socialism in a way I disagree with, and reportedly voted for Barack Obama twice. He supported Ron Paul, citing his non-interventionalist foreign policy, while criticizing his domestic policy (something that a lot of right-wingers criticized as well). In the last election, he was anti-Trump, and first supported Jew Bernie Sanders, then apparently voted for Jew Jill Stein.
At the same time, in 2010, he publicly and aggressively criticized Jewish power, and even claimed that Hitler was “misunderstood,” and came very close to questioning the Holocaust myth itself. He questioned why the supposed six million Jews who died in the supposed Holocaust were more important than the 20 million Christians who died in the Soviet Union. He said that both the media and American foreign policy are controlled by Jews.
He later apologized to Abe Foxman, the then head of the ADL. It is doubtful that if he did not himself have Jewish blood, he would have been able to get away with an apology.
And then, he has been a big supporter of Julian Assange, and supported Russia during the Maidan coup in the Ukraine.
So, all of this is to say – he is a man where you can witness the battle between Jew and gentile happening within his own psyche, something that has for a long time been fascinating to me.
As such, his upcoming Showtime documentary series on Vladimir Putin, which includes extensive interviews with the man himself, is something I have eagerly awaited.
It’s coming out soon, so there are bits and pieces being released.

Russian President Vladimir Putin once suggested to then-US president Bill Clinton that Russia join the Washington-led military alliance, Putin said in an interview with American film director Oliver Stone.
“I remember one of our last meetings with President Clinton, when Clinton was still in office. He visited Moscow and during a discussion I said, ‘So, what if [we] consider an option of Russia maybe joining NATO,’” Putin said in one of his conversations with Stone.
While Clinton replied that he “didn’t mind,” the rest of the American delegation became visibly nervous, Putin went on to say, smiling.
The conversation was posted on Vimeo by Daniel Lippman as “an exclusive preview clip” of an upcoming Showtime series on the Russian leader. It is said to be part of a four-night special documentary project, ‘The Putin Interviews,’ set to premiere on the American cable network on June 12.
In a separate interview in the preview, Putin called NATO “an instrument of America’s foreign policy,” saying that the US-led alliance “has no allies, but only vassals.” According to the Russian leader, some member states find it hard to resist Washington’s pressure, and thus “anything can be easily placed” on their territories, including both anti-missile and offensive systems.
“And what are we supposed to do? Due to that, we have to take counter measures,” Putin told his American interviewer.
Promoted as “the most detailed portrait of Putin ever granted to a Western interviewer,” it will feature interviews between the director and the Russian leader that were made during several encounters over two years.
So yes.
I think, like most of Stone’s career, this will be very interesting.
