The former FBI Director and lying criminal James Comey was back to testify in front of Congress. This is the second time in the past week where Comey has testified during a closed door hearing organized by House Republicans.
Following his appearance, he briefly spoke to the press where he whined about Donald Trump’s presidency and lectured Americans about the importance of “truth” and “values.” He even complained about Fox News and attacked anyone who dared question the credibility of the FBI.
Former FBI Director James Comey on Monday railed against President Trump and his Republican allies in Congress, arguing their attacks on the FBI made no sense.
Comey slammed GOP lawmakers for remaining silent while he said Trump disregarded the rule of law.
“So another day of Hillary Clinton’s emails and the Steele dossier,” Comey told reporters after he was interviewed for roughly six hours behind closed doors. “This while the president of the United States is lying about the FBI, attacking the FBI and attacking the rule of law in this country. How does that make any sense?”
In biting comments, Comey characterized GOP lawmakers as too cowardly to stand up for the FBI for fear of political backlash.
“Republicans used to understand that the actions of a president matter, the words of a president matter, the rule of law matters, and the truth matters. Where are those Republicans today,” Comey said. “At some point, someone has to stand up and in the fear of Fox News and fear of their base, and fear of mean tweets, stand up for the values of this country and not slink away into retirement.”
This is some of the most hypocritical insanity imaginable. For Comey to lecture anybody about “truth” and “values” is Twilight Zone-tier. He ran the FBI which is arguably the most rogue and corrupt of all agencies within the federal government.
During the last hearing, Comey said that he didn’t know, couldn’t recall or couldn’t remember 245 times. And this was in response to questions involving highly important matters that he certainly would not have forgotten.
And let’s not forget that Comey deliberately covered up the numerous crimes committed by Hillary Clinton when he led the sham investigation into her activities back in 2016. This despite the fact that there was numerous evidence proving that she mishandled classified information by using a private email server for official government business.
Comey was also a central figure in using the uncorroborated bullshit in the #pissgate dossier to get a warrant from the FISA Court to spy on Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
And this is just the tip of the iceberg. It would literally take a book to document how corrupt this man is. This is not someone who is interested in “truth” and he sure as hell doesn’t have any “values.” He’s an arrogant and condescending asshole who willingly involved himself in a criminal conspiracy to depose the lawfully elected President of the United States Donald J. Trump. He has no respect for the American people, the electoral process or the rule of law.
