Well just looking at the picture, I feel like you can tell what happened next.

RT:

Florida Secretary of State Michael Ertel has been forced to resign in disgrace just weeks after taking office after photographs of him dressed as a ‘Hurricane Katrina victim’, in both blackface and in drag, appeared online.

The offending photo was taken in 2005, just two months after Hurricane Katrina, which killed 1,836 people and caused a rough total of $125 billion of damage, devastated New Orleans. Ertel’s face is painted black and he is wearing red lipstick, earrings, fake breasts, a New Orleans Saints bandana, and purple T-shirt emblazoned with the words “Katrina Victim.”

Wow.

A picture like that getting leaked is always going to be career-ending, even if it’s from 15 years ago when you were still sort of allowed to make edgy jokes in polite company. Not only that, but his friends might disavow him. Family too, maybe.

There should be serious consequences for this kind of behavior. And there will be. There’s going to be one guy who just snaps one day when he is informed that he lost his life over a fucking picture someone put up on MySpace back in 2005.

He’ll find the Journifa IRL who wrecked his life and hilarity will ensue.

And here I am, hoping and praying for people to stop disavowing and disowning and turning against their own friends, supporters and employees just because some liberal took issue with something that they had done.

We all hoped against hope that Donald Trump’s campaign slogan – “Don’t Cuck” – would embed itself in the psyche of a new crop of Republican candidates and force them to grow a pair. It seems that we still have a long ways to go. A lot of beatings need to be handed out to Republicans – just until their spine reappears.

To give credit where due however, DeSantis made it sound like he wouldn’t have called for the guy’s resignation if he hadn’t offered it himself.

Tallahassee Democrat:

“The governor accepted Secretary Ertel’s resignation,” the Governor’s Office said.

Shortly after the statement was issued, at a news conference on hurricane relief in Marianna, DeSantis addressed the resignation.

“It’s unfortunate. I think he’s done a lot of good work,” DeSantis said, adding that he accepted the resignation because “I don’t want to get mired into kind of side controversies, and so I felt it was best to just accept the resignation and move on.”

DeSantis also said he thinks Ertel regrets what happened 14-15 years ago, “but at the same time I want people to be able to lead and not have these things swirling around them.”

This is going to end in blood eventually.

Some guy is going to get smited by the media and he won’t be able to take it. Maybe a year or two years after the fateful day when his life is in the gutter, he’ll find and legit kill one of these blue checkmarks.

And then we’ll have to endure never-ending screeching from the “survivors” about how the “guardians of democracy” are under attack by bigots.

*shudder*

So yeah, I’m not endorsing what is going to eventually happen. I’m just stating matter of factly that when you go around casually destroying people’s lives, eventually that comes back to you.

Dead journalists will only give the Left casus belli to go after guns and further criminalize being white and being a man because the Cuck-Right will just roll over and profusely apologize and refuse to fight back.

I can easily see it all coming a mile away.

Can’t you as well?
