Members of the Front National were travelling to a meeting in Nantes when they were attacked by a hundred or so leftist thugs wearing masks and armed with bats. The leftists also blocked roads using burning tyres and slow-moving vehicles.
It’s worth bearing in mind that Marine Le Pen is the leading candidate in the French presidential elections. So this isn’t some fringe party that is being attacked.
