I honestly think the chances of Trump attacking Iran are incredibly, incredibly low low low.
Before, it felt like he had people holding some control over him. When he did the Syria strikes. Then he looked weird in public. But lately, he is unleashed.
The Iranian regime has serious problems right now, since he killed the deal. There would be no logical reason to bomb them. You would only do that if a Jew had a gun to your head, and I don’t believe the Jews have that.
Obviously, there are people around Trump who might want that. I don’t really know about any of these people at this point. Bolton appears to have been turned into a servant of Trump.
I could see Jews faking this report in order to put pressure on Trump.
Why would it be Australia faking this instead of NYT/WaPo?
I dunno. Probably for attention. Getting in on that “anonymous sources” fake news dollar.
Australians are always late to pick up on these trends.
RT:
The Pentagon has no policy for regime change in Iran and the Australian news report that claimed the US was about to launch an attack on Tehran is ‘fiction,’ US Secretary of Defense James Mattis told reporters.
The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) reported on Friday that the US is preparing to bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities “perhaps as early as next month,” citing “senior figures” in the government.
“I have no idea where the Australian news people got that,” Mattis told reporters at the Pentagon on Friday. “I’m confident it is not something that’s being considered right now, and I think it’s a complete – frankly, it’s – it’s fiction.”
#SecDefMattis just spoke to reporters on #Iran & stories US is planning strikes: "I have no idea where the Australian newspeople got that … I am confident it is not something that is being considered right now. I think it’s…frankly its fiction as best I can give you." (more)

Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull also pushed back on the ABC report, calling it “speculation” based on anonymous sources.
Asked if the Trump administration has a policy of regime change in Iran, Mattis replied, “There’s none that’s been instituted.”
“We need them to change their behavior on a number of threats that they can pose with their military, with their secret services, with their surrogates and with their proxies,” Mattis said, according to Reuters.
That’s actually a decent response from Mattis.
Maybe he finally got a nap?
I think Trump is going to do Korea Deal 2 with Iran.
But LOOK
I’ll admit I’m extremely positive right now.
So who even knows.
Something horrible could happen.
But that is the nature of reality: anything can happen at any time.
As I have said though: the fate of Iran and Syria are tied up in the fate of Trump’s dealings with Putin.
And these dealings, I am very optimistic about.
So then I’m also optimistic about Iran.
And I just can’t see any situation where Trump gets us into some Middle East clusterfuck.
He is fighting for us, hard.
