Memes: Where do They Come From?
Where are they born? The answer is simple: they are born in your mind, from your wit, your knowledge, your sense of humor. There are a great many brilliant posters in the comment threads: some contribute their intellectual capacities or relevant news, others their humor and still others their artistic capabilities.
What if we could summon and utilize the collective genius and combination of creative minds that this site attracts? Last week we mentioned the power of memes and we could add further their ability to re-frame a narrative, expose lies and make appalling apparent the truth as natural outcomes to something well-memed.
Making Your Own
Today I’d like everyone to experiment and make their own. They can be simple statements, informative graphics, funny and exaggerated ideas, cutting and acerbic rebukes or whatever might your mind create.

Free Software
For those who wish to make memetics their life’s purpose or simply a hobby, download GIMP and play around, the site offers simple tutorials, but a search on JewTube will result in tens of thousands of results.

Layers and Cut-Outs with Transparent Backgrounds:
Collect the below images (they all have transparent background so they will fit nicely into any photo) and add them atop your favorite background. When working with layers in GIMP you can easily add images (or cutouts of faces or people etc.) to new images.
