And it isn’t Whites.
The District Attorney’s Office has charged an Uber driver with sexually assaulting a woman he gave a ride to on Halloween night.
Luis Galeano-Bedon, 43, is charged with two counts of sexual assault.
Police say the victim and a friend were staying in a Denver hotel on Halloween night and arranged for a ride through Uber to lower downtown.
Galeano-Bedon gave the two his personal cell phone and told them to call when they were ready to return to the hotel.
The charges allege that in the early hours of Nov. 1., Galeano-Bedon picked up the women and sexually assaulted one of them on the way back to their hotel.
Galeano-Bedon was arrested earlier this week and remains in custody on a $50,000 bond.
