Nearly a month after voters cast their ballots, the primary results in Missouri have finally been made official, and Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton can add the state to their list of wins.
On Tuesday, Missouri Secretary of State Jason Kander tweeted: “This morning I certified the presidential preference primary. @HillaryClinton and @realDonaldTrump have officially won Missouri.”
In the final tally, Trump pipped Texas Sen. Ted Cruz by just 0.2 percentage points — 40.9 percent to Cruz’s 40.7. The billionaire will receive 37 delegates to Cruz’s 15. Ohio Gov. John Kasich will receive none.

“Thank you to the great people of Missouri who voted for me and the state officials who worked to ensure the votes of the people mattered,” Trump said in a statement. “It is great to have yet another victory as we look forward to the upcoming primary in New York.”
