Police have two suspects in custody in the murder of an American tourist whose body was found inside a suitcase in Bali.

The victim, 62-year-old Sheila von Weise Mack, lived in Oak Park, Ill., a neighbor confirms to WGN.

Police arrested the woman’s daughter, 19-year old Heather Mack, and her boyfriend, 21-year old Tommy Schaefer at another hotel several miles away on Tuesday.

Investigators say security video from a hotel lobby shows the woman arguing with her daughter’s boyfriend on Monday night.

The suitcase containing her body was found the next day inside the trunk of a taxi.

She had been beaten to death.

Neighbors in Oak Park say Sheila von Weise Mack sold her home and moved to Chicago last year.

But before the family moved, they say police were called to the home several times due to violent fights between the mother and daughter.
