Prince William County police have arrested three suspects in connection with the murder of Woodbridge Senior High School student Brenden Michel Wilson, who was shot and killed Monday afternoon.
Twenty-year-old Kawain Tyrell Smalls of Woodbridge, Va. was arrested without incident at his home on Tuesday, police said. Smalls is being charged with murder, use of firearm in commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Kymothy-Tyriq Desean Wilson, 18, also of Woodbridge, is charged with conspiracy to commit a felony. The third suspect, identified by police as a 17-year-old juvenile, is also charged with conspiracy to commit a felony.

A fourth suspect, identified only as a juvenile, remains at large.
According to Prince William County records, Smalls has a long criminal background, including robbery cases, identity theft cases and much more.
The investigation shows that the shooting was drug related and both parties knew each other, police said. A police source tells WUSA9’s Peggy Fox that it was a pot deal gone wrong.
Brenden Wilson was gunned down next to the school along a pathway through some woods at around 4:30 p.m. Monday.
