And it’s happening again.
Nearly two thirds of the public believe that migrants are not integrating well into British society, according to a poll.
Research by YouGov found concern over how arrivals were fitting in rose to 79 per cent among those who voted for Brexit in the historic EU referendum.
By contrast, among people who supported Remain the figure was much lower at 38 per cent.
The results of the survey, conducted for of social integration charity The Challenge, underline the importance of immigration in the referendum result.
They emerged as the government prepares to publish an official review of integration.
The study by Dame Louise Casey is said to criticise ministers for failing to manage immigration better, tackle extremism and help minorities fit in.
The assessment has apparently been ready for months but its publication was delayed after Home Office officials expressed ‘unhappiness’ about its content.
It is said to cite a lack of a strategy to integrate communities, with some areas becoming Muslim-only zones, and the failure to promote and defend a programme designed to counter radicalism.
The poll, carried out earlier this month, found 58 per cent believe migrants are not integrating well into British society.
Absolutely disgusting.
Do these racists have any idea what these Afghans, Pakistanis, North Africans, Nigerians and Eritreans went through to escape the brutal civil war in Syria?

Ministers have been forced to put forward plans for pre-fabricated homes after 30,000 council houses were handed to migrants.
The 100,000 pre-fab homes proposed by the Government are a far cry from those properties “fit for heroes” and service personnel who were awarded social housing on their return from the horrors of the First World War.
David Lloyd George’s mandate for the 1919 Housing Act was his battle cry as he headed into Britain’s post-war election campaign.
And he won the election along with his pledge for housing heroes.
But today when approximately 9,000 of our servicemen and women are sleeping rough after leaving the military, Government figures show how an influx of migrants has seen 30,000 social housing lettings given to immigrants in 2015.
This has pushed ministers to plan a new wave of pre-made homes to solve the housing crisis.
The prefabricated homes can be built off site in as little as a day and take just 48 hours to install on a site.
They sprung up across the country following the wars in an attempt to house families bombed out of their homes.
The plans come as Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith warned immigration is “pricing young people out of the housing market” in Britain.
Newsflash, racists: no one cares if you served in some stupid military. You’ve already experienced living in a house. It’s time for the victims of the brutal civil war in Syria to have a chance at living in a house.

The UK government is now devoted exclusively to taking care of these little victimized infants from Afghanistan.
