“Whenever freedom is desecrated the best men meet in prison.” – Adolf Hitler
This week we contacted the Finnish Ambassador. The following message is directed not only at National Socialists, but anyone concerned with human rights. Our friends in the Finnish NRM have been subjected to the most outrageous mass arrest in which seven activists are being held without bail until late this year, including the group’s leader Juuso Tahvanainen. In addition the group is the target of a full scale attack by the media with politicians who are taking advantage of wild speculation.
As we prepare for the 15th it is important to remember such things as they serve as a poignant reminder of what we are up against. Every one of us potentially faces risk, we have had our share of mass arrests and raids – these are always baseless and serve only as intimidation tactics. They succeed only if we allow ourselves to be intimidated.
We carry on because what we are doing is right, and because we act within the law we know that justice will always be ours in the end no matter what they accuse us of. Without a mobilization of a united front the system will get a little bit bolder in curtailing the little freedom we have, this is why at the White Man March we must hold our heads high because if we don’t march then we will be left with nothing.
Resistance issued the following statement;
Finnish Resistance Movement held demonstration in city of Jyväskylä during Neste Oil Rally. Event included march through the city and handing out flyers. Feedback from the people was mainly positive. By the end of the event, couple of aggressively behaved antifascist showed up, one of them has been recognised as “Arto Savolainen” who is well know antifascist in Finland. Savolainen has fought with our activists before, in 2013 he got stabbed in a fight at library of Jyväskylä. Our group was leaving the event, when Savolainen started to taunt us and waved at us to come to fight him. He left with his friends to same way that our activists were going. Soon situation escalated to a fight and problem antifascists brought was taken care off. Police came and maced people inside of a mall. After this situation calmed down. Then police surrounded people who participated in the event and informed that they are going to take us in. Most of the 32 people have been released. 7 people are still held by the police. According to media, 14 people are being suspected of a crime. Crimes are assault, violent riot and leading of a violent riot.
It should be noted that by contrast, every year on independence day the leftists riot and smash the fuck out of Helsinki. On 06/12/2013 reds held demonstration where two policeman were beaten unconscious, ten policeman hospitalized, two police horses delivered open wounds, and over 100,000 euros worth of damage to the city – the media called this a ‘demonstration’. In this incident which according to eye witnesses lasted less than a minute, three people got into a fight when a demo was over and the media carried the headline “Neo-nazis rioting, bloodbath in Jyväskylä”.
Just think for a moment about the amount of violence and destruction during the anti austerity protests and the london riots, but they are the good guys right? How the media cried when anyone was arrested for battering the police. We are tired of hearing about how our tiny demonstrations are a ‘violent menace to society’ that ‘seriously test the limits of freedom of expression’, when ever since 1945 we have been acting like a bunch of pussy cats. If they can do this to us they can do it to anyone, you are idiots if you go along with it, something must be done.
With the case against Golden Dawn falling apart and the organisation stronger than it has ever been, many governments are realizing that our groups need to be nipped in the bud. where they failed with Golden Dawn and failed with the Social Nationalist Assembly, they will also fail with the Nordic Resistance Movement.
yesterday we delivered the following message to the Finnish Ambassador.
Dear Mr. Huhtaniemi,
As a representative of the government of Finland we are writing to express our concern over a major human rights abuse that recently took place in the town of Jyväskylä against members of the Nordic Resistance Movement. Here individuals were unfairly subjected to a mass arrest following an altercation with convicted communist thug Arto Savolainen. We wish to register our protest at the continued detention of seven activists who are being held on alleged charges of conspiracy to cause a ‘violent riot’, and the illegal and malicious persecution of the group by anti-Finnish elements.
We find the comments of your Prime Minister Juha Sipilä this week alleging that the group is ‘violent’ and therefore has ‘no right to exist’ to be shocking and be deeply offensive as it presumes the guilt of the accused. We also regard this as an insult to the memory of many thousands of heroic Finns who died while defending their nation against vile Bolsheviks.
The purpose of this message is solely to inform that unless there has been a change in policy it is our intention to hold demonstrations in solidarity with the prisoners and to bring this issue to international attention. We will not again contact you relating to this incident.
Regards,
National Action
We feel immediate action had to be taken. At this time it is not much but a gesture of our friendship and support for those going through a difficult time, if we survive the coming weeks then we will follow these words with actions. We love you dearly, do not let them crush your spirit.
Here are the details of the three men and the prison they reside in. They would welcome any international messages of support. Please include return address on the back of envelope.
