Negress Pleads Guilty to Killing White Woman After Previous Mistrial

Evan Colquitt was shot in the back while fleeing from his pursuer.

After a mistrial for the woman accused of killing 17-year-old Evan Colquitt on Sharondale Road in 2013, Colquitt’s family says Adrienne Jackson has now accepted a plea deal to a lesser charge of voluntary manslaughter.

This all unfolded Wednesday morning, after a hung jury back in April.
