A judge denied bail Wednesday for a man charged with strangling a nursing student and abandoning her body in the backyard of a South Side home this May.
A bond court judge called the murder of 18-year-old Karalynn McNicholas of Mount Greenwood “cruel” and “heinous” Wednesday as 20-year-old Trevon Clark stood facing one count of first degree murder and one count of felony possession of a stolen vehicle in the case.
Karalynn’s mother Christine McNicholas says the last few months have been very difficult without her daughter, but she is very thankful for the hard work of Chicago police.
