A man sits in jail for suspicion of two homicides. as police investigate the death of a house sitter in Renton and a second death of a grandmother in Skyway.
The younger woman was found at the home in the 2000 block of Southeast 17th Court near Rolling Hills Avenue Southeast overnight.
Just before midnight Tuesday, the family returned to their home in the neighborhood after failing to reach their house sitter, who was supposed to pick them up at the airport. The woman, 21, was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound, according to Renton police.
Neighbors say Craven’s ex-girlfriend lived in the Renton house, where the family came home to find the house sitter dead.
Craven is booked into the King County Jail on investigation for suspicion of two homicides.
Police believe he is responsible for killing the house sitter and for a second murder in Skyway.
Police confirm that the biological grandmother of Craven was found dead in her Skyway home. Neighbors confirm to KIRO 7 that Angie Hayden was Craven’s grandmother, and that he had a history of domestic violence against her.
She was found dead in her house, according to King County Sheriff’s Office.
