Marissa Stainback’s father was clearly White, so the chances are she was too. She had also had offspring with her Black husband, who ended up killing her.

A Granite City man has been sentenced to 33 years in jail for the murder of his estranged wife in 2013.  45-year-old Tyrone Stainback pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and was sentenced in Madison County Court yesterday in the death of 34-year-old Marissa Stainback of Alton.
