I wouldn’t claim to understand British politics, but it is strange to me that Nigel Farage resigned from UKIP following the Brexit win and then did not become a normal Tory politician.

It seems that he could have pushed to be deputy Prime Minister and eventually Prime Minister. He is very good at agitating, and he did win the biggest referendum in all of history.

Anyway, he didn’t do that, and instead started a podcast, and left the shell of UKIP just sort of hanging there.

They’ve had a lot of problems. But now it is becoming the official party of the Alt-Lite.

Sargon of Akkad, Paul Joesph Watson, that Nazi Pug guy joined, and now Tommy Robinson is being given a command post.

Reuters:

The leader of the eurosceptic United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) has appointed far-right activist Tommy Robinson as an adviser.

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, is the founder of the English Defence League, which has staged violent demonstrations against Islam.

Under current UKIP party rules, he is barred from joining the party, leading party leader Gerard Batten to appoint him as an adviser in a personal capacity.

“It is not necessary for him to be a party member in order to assist me in this role. I am looking forward to working with him,” Batten said, according to the BBC.

Farage told the BBC Radio that Batten’s appointment of Robinson risked tarnishing the party and possibly the whole Brexit process.

“From every single aspect, it’s time we got rid of Gerard Batten and reclaimed the party,” Farage said.

lol.

Well, I guess you shouldn’t have resigned to do a podcast, bud.

Now your whole shit is taken over by a bunch of weirdos.

I wonder if Farage dislikes Tommy Robinson because he thinks his image is too bad, or because he thinks he’s an Israeli shill?

Tommy Robinson is real far from extreme, his only thing is that Islam is bad, and he’s gained a lot of traction with that. The fact that he was arrested for protesting Islamic rape gangs and the court was forced to release him because people were rioting is quite a thing.

Point being: It doesn’t seem like he has a bad brand. Thousands will riot for him.
