In this picture, Neo-Nazi White Supremacist Andrew Anglin, a leading figure in the alt-right, is mocking the racist stereotype of Black guys who take selfies with things they just stole.
So I finally got my new computer, can dump the crappy, slow, small, hard-to-type-on backup I’ve been using since the old bastard gave up the ghost.
The site was down today, as you may know if you’re a morning person and/or a European.
Forgive us, people.
It wasn’t an attack. We don’t get those anymore since weev runs the server. Or rather we get them, but they are of no consequence. Weev was busy today with IRL business, so it took a minute to get rolling again.

I went with a low-end ASUS gaming laptop. I don’t play games, but it was cheaper and bigger than the high-end business laptops with the same specs. Would have liked to have had the best Thinkpad, but they were just too expensive (and they don’t make one with a huge screen like this). This one was $300 under budget (budget was $1500) with all the bells and whistles. It’s recommended for video editing, which I’d like to do more of but was a bit restricted before.
Also great news – it fits in my Jansport bag. I didn’t think there was any chance of it. It takes a bit of shoving, but it goes in.
Would hate to have to switch from that classic style I’ve used since the first grade.

Thanks again to everyone who contributed to the laptop drive. You made it happen. And as goofy as it may sound, the site is going to be better for it. I sit at this computer most of the day, and things are going to get done faster and better.
The downtime actually gave me time to set-up the new machine.
So it all worked out.
Anyway, gotta catch up on these article postings. Daylight is ticking away.
