A Baton Rouge man arrested Tuesday is accused of raping a 5-year-old girl, forcing her to perform oral sex on him multiple times, according to police.
The victim told police Lenard Taylor, 31, had been “doing bad stuff to her” — once while she was watching TV in her mother’s room and another time when she was in the car with Taylor on the way to the grocery store, according to the arrest warrant filed by the Baton Rouge Police Department.
The child said Taylor had asked her not to tell anyone about what happened.
The victim’s mother told police she noticed her daughter was moping around, which is unusual behavior for her, according to the warrant. When she asked her daughter what was wrong, the child opened up to her.
