Having your grandfather tortured to death and burned is just something you need to deal with.

KCRA:

Bones found in a burn pile on a Nevada County property were identified as those of a missing 70-year-old man, and a suspect was booked on torture and murder charges, investigators said.

Stanley Owen Norman, of Lake of the Pines, was last seen during the early morning hours of April 15 at a home in Grass Valley.

Sean Danielle Bryant, who was already in the Nevada County Jail since May 15 on charges of domestic violence and torture, was booked Sunday evening on additional charges of murder and murder involving torture in connection with Norman’s death, according to the sheriff’s office.

Bryant was identified early on as being with Norman just before he disappeared. Detectives interviewed Bryant several times, and he maintained that he and Norman were in Grass Valley on the evening of April 14 and stayed up late, partying through the early morning hours of April 15 at Bryant’s office.
