A sinister message warning landlords not to rent their properties to “foreign nationals” has once again appeared in Moygashel, Dungannon.
The words, painted in black block capitals against a white wall at the entrance to the village, are believed to have appeared over the weekend – just months after the same message, attached to an telephone pole on the same road, sparked outrage across Northern Ireland.
The new graffiti, which says “Attention landlords. Leasing property to foreign nationals will not be tolerated” has been stencilled on a wall just below where UVF and Royal 14th Battalion Irish Regiment Young Citizens Volunteers flags fly.
And it appears at the very point where union flag bunting, decorating lampposts in the area, begins.
The message is supported with yet another placard at the entrance to Jacksonville Road claiming “It is not racist to protect your own community”.
The second sign has been placed directly below a union flag, and just above a neighbourhood watch sign.
