No matter how many times you watch one of these side-by-side comparisons of something a politician said then to what he’s saying now, it is always shocking.
It’s a cliche, but all a politician is is a professional liar.
In 2008, Barack Obama complained about election fraud, said both parties engaged in it, and said a special non-partisan congressional committee should be put together to investigate everything and make sure it never happens.
In 2016, it’s a conspiracy theory and it’s unconscionable that Donald Trump would even talk about it being possible.
