Nobel prize winner and education advocate Malala Yousafzai called Donald Trump’s proposal to ban Muslims from entering the U.S. “tragic” and “full of hatred.”
Yousafzai, who was shot in the head by a member of the Taliban in 2012 but survived, was speaking at a memorial ceremony for the 134 children killed in a Taliban attack on a school in Pakistan a year ago.
“Well, that’s really tragic that you hear these comments which are full of hatred, full of this ideology of being discriminative towards others,” Yousafzai said, according to AFP.
