You know, Donald Trump, the gigantic leader of the United States, single-handedly solved what was considered an unsolvable 70-year-old crisis in the Korean Peninsula like it was nothing.
And somehow, the Jew media continues to claim that he is some kind of idiot who has no idea what is even going on.
There are objective measures of his personal competence as a statesman, everywhere, but they just keep pushing the absurd premise that he is not competent.
Imagine all the things he would be solving if he was in full control of the government.
The two Koreas will start clearing mines from the heavily fortified Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) on October 1 as a first step after they agreed to disarm the border area starting with land mines.
For 20 days from Monday, Seoul and Pyongyang plan to remove all mines from the Joint Security Area (JSA) along the DMZ, the Ministry of National Defense said, Sunday.
“The two Koreas will engage in joint works to remove mines and explosives on the JSA and upland areas in Cheorwon, Gangwon Province,” a military official said.
The remains of about 300 soldiers from the two Koreas and United Nation forces killed during the 1950-1953 Korean War are believed to be buried in the upland areas.
The two Koreas chose the area as a trial venue for the joint repatriation mission.
The move is part of a follow-up measure to the Pyongyang Declaration signed in mid-September by President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
The leaders of the two Koreas agreed to continue concerted efforts to disarm the DMZ and withdraw troops from there as a confidence-building measure amid detente on the Korean Peninsula.
There is simply no comparable accomplishment in diplomacy that I can think of having happened since WWII. Not that WWII was good diplomacy, I am just using it as a marker.
I guess Nixon’s China deal was “good.” And I guess you could say that the way the West destroyed Russia after the fall of communism was “good foreign policy.” Assuming you agreed with the goal of crushing Russia. But even that didn’t work out all that well, did it?
As Trump said at the UN, he is the greatest President possibly of all time.
Andrew Jackson was good, of course. Thomas Jefferson. But at the very least, he is the greatest President in the last century. No possible way to argue that point.
ONE KOREA!
