Quick, someone fix this narrative! It makes no sense!
Chris Harper Mercer, the shooter in the attack at Umpqua Community College in Oregon, was a “hate-filled” individual who had anti-religion, anti-government and white supremacy leanings, according to two law enforcement sources familiar with the investigation.
During the Thursday rampage, Mercer, 26, wore body armor and had extra ammunition, although it is unclear whether he carried the ammunition during the shooting or left it in his car, a federal source said Friday.

The attack left 10 dead, including Mercer, and at least 10 injured.
Mercer, who was also obsessed with guns, left behind an angry, hate-filled note, said the other source, who was not authorized to discuss the investigation.
The gunman, who was killed in an gunfight with police, also liked to discuss military history, sources said.
Overnight, officials searched Mercer’s apartment and recovered weapons, said Douglas County Sheriff John Hanlin. Further details are expected to be released at news conferences later in the day.
Hanlin also said investigators interviewed neighbors and others at the college to learn more details about Mercer.
Local hospitals were strained by the sudden flow of wounded and dead.
The thing about these shooting is that it can never be “well, dude was insane” or “he was on pharmaceutical drugs that have been proved to cause violent behavior.”
There always has to be some narrative.
Problem here is, shooter was mixed-race, apparently a supporter of the IRA, specifically targeted Christians and one time bought an SS hat on the internet (which means he was a White supremacist).
So really, the only logical narrative is “this man was, for whatever reason, seriously mentally unsound.”
But there always has to be an agenda-based narrative.
The Daily Express expresses the difficulty they are having in formulating this needed agenda-based narrative.
In disturbing images posted online, Harper-Mercer, who was born in England and moved to the States at a young age, posed with guns and shared pro-IRA newspaper front pages, an Express.co.uk investigation has found.
He also posted a three-minute video on the social networking site MySpace featuring IRA fighters branding guns and wearing balaclavas.

On his dating profile on the website Spiritual Passions, he wrote that he “doesn’t like organised religion”.
“Spiritual passions” but also said to have targeted Christians.

His username on the dating site was ironcross45 – a possible reference to the Iron Cross, a German military symbol reintroduced by the Nazis.
A user with the same name spent almost £100 on a Nazi SS officers’ cap on a different website more than two years ago.

In his dating profile he described himself as “Not Religious, Not Religious, but Spiritual”.
He described himself as a “lover, conservative, professional, intellectual, introvert” – and under his interests listed the “internet, killing zombies, movies, music, reading”.
Harper Mercer also said he was “mixed race”, did not drink and was a “conservative, Republican”.

He also appeared to write a blog post hosted on a torrent site about Vester Flanagan, who shot two journalists live on air in late August.
He reportedly wrote: “I have noticed that so many people like him are all alone and unknown, yet when they spill a little blood, the whole world knows who they are.
“A man who was known by no one, is now known by everyone. His face splashed across every screen, his name across the lips of every person on the planet, all in the course of one day.
“Seems the more people you kill, the more your’re [sic] in the limelight.”

Hours before the attack, an anonymous poster on the message board 4Chan, warned: “Some of you guys are alright. Don’t go to school tomorrow if you are in the northwest.”

Another post read: “Happening thread will be posted tomorrow morning. So long space robots. Will post again am. 10 min countdown. Won’t say more to much to prepare.”
4chan poster… well, that’s pretty much to be expected. Especially since it was /r9k/, which, for those who don’t know, is where all the /b/tards who weren’t funny enough for /s4s/ and were too autistic (and/or not White) for /pol/ migrated when /b/ went full-cancer.
So, basically, the only possible narrative is that he was completely insane, presumably partly due to his mixed-race nature, party due to autism, presumably also SSRI drugs.
So, though the first reports were “another White supremacist shooting ZOMG!!!!!!” they will now move into the standard “see, this is why we need to take your guns, goyim.”
tl;dr: This story is boring.
