Maybe it was a traditionalist protesting that vile steel pyramid thing?

We predicted these incidents of spontaneous enrichment would become a daily event in the not-too-distant future.

I think we’re approaching daily at this point. I mean, it’s more than weekly now.

NBC News:

A soldier opened fire on an alleged attacker outside the world-famous Louvre museum in Paris, police said Friday.

France’s interior ministry said on Twitter that the incident was “serious.” The area was being evacuated.

Luc Poignant, a police union official, told BFM-TV that the soldier had been assaulted and that the area was being secured.

Paris’ police chief told The Associated Press that the soldier fired five shots, and that the suspect had been seriously wounded.

He added that the man had been carrying two backpacks, but no explosives had been found.

Earlier, Reuters quoted a police source as saying the solider had wounded a man armed with a knife who was trying to enter the tourist attraction. A second police source told Reuters the man had been trying to get into the museum’s underground shop with a suitcase. NBC News could not immediately independently confirm those accounts.

The “knife” was actually a machete. Which I guess is technically a knife, but is in fact more like a sword. The reason NBC news doesn’t want to say “machete” is that this makes it certain it was an enricher, and not some mentally ill white male. Of course they know that the identity of the attacker will eventually come out, but they view it as better if it comes out later, when the shock has worn off.

Ah, to be at war with the media.

At some point, the threat to our lives is going to overcome the feeling of guilt for being white, even without some kind of social revolution.

Because in the end, we are still animals, and survival is our bigger drive. Bigger even than the drive of women to protect and love brownskinned animals.
