$540 million in U.S. taxpayer money was wasted on fake Al-Qaeda videos so endless war could be waged on behalf of Israel.
I remember during the late 2000s I was frequently talking about how all of these Al-Qaeda videos we kept seeing on the news were fakes manufactured by the West. Perhaps the most ridiculous of them were the alleged Osama Bin Laden videos that came out every so often. Many of them came from SITE Intelligence an outfit run by the Zionist Jew Rita Katz and IntelCenter an organization out of Alexandria, Virginia linked to the CIA. Now there is even more proof that the creation of fake Al-Qaeda videos was part of a classified government program.
A new investigative report has revealed that Bell Pottinger a London PR firm was given a $540 million contract from the U.S. Department of Defense to create fake Al-Qaeda videos. The contract was part of a psychological warfare program which had connections back to the CIA and the Pentagon. The purpose of these videos was to provide Al-Qaeda footage for local Arabic news networks and to track people who watched them. U.S. military units would take CDs with these fake Al-Qaeda videos and plant them in places they patrolled. The CDs had a mechanism through RealPlayer to report the IP address of the people who watched them backed to Google Analytics.
Just like the so-called presence of WMDs, there was no Al-Qaeda in Iraq before the 2003 invasion. The Pentagon even had to admit this in 2008. As a result, they did their best to manufacture it. By providing fake Al-Qaeda footage to Arabic news outlets they knew that this would have a bleed over effect into the Western media. It also gave them the pretext to conduct raids on anyone who watched the videos alleging that they were connected with Al-Qaeda. All of this provided the perception that Al-Qaeda was operating in Iraq.
Long story short, Al-Qaeda was largely a CIA creation and this news is just more proof of it. Osama Bin Laden himself had numerous CIA connections dating back to his time in Afghanistan when he fought the Russians. This was a manufactured enemy organization that 9/11 was blamed on in order to justify endless wars in the Middle East for Israel. With no evidence, the Jew news media blamed Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda for being behind the 9/11 attacks less than an hour after they happened. The entire narrative has been one big lie from the start.
Today we see a similar situation with ISIS. Unlike what we saw with Al-Qaeda, I don’t believe these fools have nearly as much control over what’s happening with it. They’re just dumping weapons into Syria without any care of who ends up with them.
A joint report by the Bureau of Investigative Journalism and the Sunday Times has revealed that Lord Tim Bell’s PR firm Bell Pottinger was hired by the US military to run a “covert” propoganda operation in Iraq.
At the peak of the Iraq war, the London based consultancy was hired by the US department of defense to orchestrate a mammoth $540m campaign, in what is believed to be one of the most-costly PR contracts in history.
Operating under the agency’s now dissolved ‘conflict resolution’ arm between 2007 and 2011, the bulk of the operation included “scripting soap operas, providing footage for local Arabic news networks and allegedly distributing insurgent videos used to track the individuals who watched them,” according to the Times and the Bureau of Investigative Journalism.
Bell confirmed some elements of the news to the Sunday Times, noting he was “proud,” of the programme for preventing further bloodshed and saying that his PR firm had reported on its work to the CIA, the National Security Council and the Pentagon.
“It was a covert military operation. It was covered by various secrecy documents. We were very proud of it. We did a lot to help resolve the situation. Not enough. We did not stop the mess which emerged, but it was part of the American propaganda machinery,” he added.
Details of the contract first surfaced in US defense and procurement documents, which showed that the former Thatcher PR guru’s company was paid close to half a billion dollars for five contracts with the US military between summer 2007 and December 2011.
In order to help America win over civilians and combat militants Bell Pottinger produced reams of material for the Pentagon, a lot of which went far beyond the standard communications remit.
Speaking in the first media interview any Bell Pottinger employee has given about the project, one of the agency’s former video editors Martin Wells described how a few days after being given the job he was sent to Baghdad to conduct a “psychological operations” campaign.
The initiative was operated in secrecy and distinct from the PR agency’s main offering and included short TV slots created in the style of Arabic news networks and, according to Wells, fake insurgent videos which could be used to track those who watched them.
