Just days after a white South Carolina man allegedly gunned down nine black churchgoers, police are investigating reports that a group of black males shouting racial slurs attacked a white man on Targee Street in Stapleton Friday afternoon, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
The 28-year-old victim was walking southbound on Targee Street around 3 p.m. when he was approached by the violent mob, the spokeswoman said.
