So, we’ve gotten to the point where we simply accept these ridiculous chimpouts as a part of American life.
Americans are bracing for a summer of racial disturbances around the country, such as those that have wracked Baltimore, with African Americans and whites deeply divided about why the urban violence has occurred, a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll has found.
A resounding 96% of adults surveyed said it was likely there would be additional racial disturbances this summer, a signal that Americans believe Baltimore’s recent problems aren’t a local phenomenon but instead are symptomatic of broader national problems.
When asked to explain recent events in Baltimore and other cities that have seen confrontations between police and members of the African-American community, blacks and whites viewed the situation differently.
Asked to choose between two possible explanations for recent events, 60% of blacks said they reflected “long-standing frustrations about police mistreatment of African Americans.” Some 27% of black respondents said the disturbances were caused by people who used protests over an African American man dying in police custody “as an excused to engage in looting and violence.”
But among whites, the balance of opinion flipped: 58% said people were seizing an excuse to loot, while 32% said the events reflected long-standing frustrations with police.
We are inches away from White Backlash. This Black whining is getting so much dumber as it gets closer to the average American’s front yard, and this media narrative that they are victims of a gigantic secret conspiracy to exterminate them becomes more bizarre by the hour.
As I always say, all we need is a conversation about race.
We need to be allowed to ask questions and we need these questions to be answered with something other than “you’re a racist for asking that question and racism is evil so your question cannot be answered.”
Questions which need answered:
What is the root of the White conspiracy to oppress and murder Black people? Who is responsible for this conspiracy? Who is benefiting from this conspiracy? What are the end goals of this conspiracy? What evidence is there that this conspiracy actually exists?
Why does the media and the government continue to claim that persons such as Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown were victims of racist murders when impartial courts have proved that this was not the case? Is the media not violating any number of laws against purposefully spreading misinformation and inciting violence?
Why are Black people so prone to violent crime? Is it a biological problem? If it is not a biological problem, what evidence exists to prove it is a social problem? If it is a social problem which is the fault of Whites, why do Black cities in America function so much like Black cities in Africa and Black cities in the Caribbean?
Most importantly:
What is the solution to the race problem in America? How much do we have to give Black people to get them to stop burning down cities? Do White people have a right not to be continually victimized by Blacks?
Is it time to start thinking about sending these people home?
