Well this here is a real block-knocker-offer.
I’m knocked right the hell off my block.
Because there are layers here.
A victim of clerical sex abuse has said Pope Francis told him God made him gay and his sexuality “does not matter”.
Juan Carlos Cruz spoke privately with the pontiff last week about the abuse he suffered at the hands of a prominent Chilean priest.
After his sexuality came up in conversation, Francis reportedly told him: “Juan Carlos, that you are gay does not matter. God made you like that and loves you like this and I don’t care. The Pope loves you like this. You have to be happy with who you are.”
The comments are arguably the most explicit acceptance of homosexuality publicly spoken by a head of the Roman Catholic church, which teaches that gay sex is a sin.
The primary story of “the Pope now says that God creates people as gay” is the headline.
And that is a big if true story. I think it probably is true, but the Vatican will probably come out and claim that the wording was somewhat different than is being reported, and he isn’t actually saying exactly that God makes people gay. Like they did when the Pope reportedly denied the existence of Hell a couple weeks ago.
Anyway, we all kind of have understood for a while that this Pope is integrating faggotism into Catholicism, and we’ve discussed it in terms of something that is inevitable.
But for me, the real story is buried in the lede: the Pope was having this meeting with this faggot individual BECAUSE he was sexually abused by a priest as an adolescent!
For those who do not know, the standard right-wing narrative is that all or at least the overwhelming majority of homosexuals were sexually molested as children or adolescents and that this is what caused them to become homosexuals.
The idea is that homosexuals reproduce by preying on children and young men – that these early sexual experiences shape the individual’s psychological imprint of what sexuality is, and that they then develop this preference.
I have never known of a homosexual who was not abused as a child. And if you ask others about homosexuals that they know, they will generally be aware of that abuse, because the homosexuals will talk about it.
When I lived in the Philippines, I went to a college dissertation presentation thing, and they had done a study on men having sex with men (MSM), which there includes a lot of trannies along with normal homosexuals, and of the 25 MSMs they interviewed, all of them had had homosexual experiences with older men before they were 13 (or maybe it was before they were 12, this was a long time ago, but about half had had such encounters pre-pubescent and the other half in early pubescence).
Of course, you wouldn’t be allowed to do a study like that in the United States. But if such a study was ever done, and the results came back like we predict (they would, which is why the study has never been done), the Jews would just tell you it was a coincidence.
Then they would bring up the fact that not all men who suffer homosexual abuse as a child or adolescent turn out to be homosexuals. That is true, but there are any number of reasons for that – which yes, do include genetics, and hormonal makeup, but also include innumerable other environmental factors, such as what kind of father they had.
The Jews may also go so far as to say that the abused children were abused specifically because the abuser picked up on homosexual genetic traits being exhibited by the children, in which case you would just need to respond with “okay Jews, why don’t you all go ahead and enjoy a free haircut and shower, and then we’ll finish this conversation up after that, alright?”
