Titusville police executed a search warrant Thursday at a home in Mims in connection with a death investigation from Titusville.
Investigators arrived at the home on Marigold Avenue Thursday afternoon.
Titusville police said Quinton Woodruff is a person of interest in the death investigation of Brandee Kelley, 24.
The Mims home where deputies are searching belongs to Woodruff’s parents, investigators said.
Woodruff’s father Sam Woodruff told WFTV he hadn’t seen his son in about a week.
“Has he called you or told you he was in any kind of trouble or his girlfriend was hurt or anything?” asked WFTV’s Jef Deal.
“No, he hadn’t called. I ain’t talk to him on the phone since I don’t know when. But he ain’t called me,” said Sam Woodruff.
Kelley was shot late Tuesday night in Titusville and later died at Parrish Medical Center.
Witnesses said the gunman tapped on the glass door, and when Kelley peeked through, the gunman open fire.
“She was just lying on the floor, so I went to check her pulse, and I realized she had a wound to the heart,” Kelley’s friend, Dawson Paine, said.
Kelley’s Friends told Deal that she was pregnant with Woodruff’s child, but authorities have not confirmed that information.
