If you have a bugout bag for some kind of disaster or you just like to camp, don’t get these plates.

At first glance they look like they’re very good and useful for pretty much whatever you would need a large shallow bowl/plate for when you’re camping or whatever, but they contain lead and other harmful materials.

The guy in the video shills another similar plate/mess kit unit, but I haven’t done any reading on that particular thing. Make sure whatever you’re using won’t poison you.

Personally when I go camping or hiking and decide to cook something I just use a flat rock as a plate so I don’t waste the space in my bag, but if you would rather a normal plate (or don’t have access to extra water to wash the rock) you should watch what you’re buying.
