Two men have been sentenced to 13 years in prison for robbing and fatally shooting an Imo’s pizza delivery driver in 2012.
A court found Davionte M. Williams, 20, and Chester R. Woods, 22, guilty of second-degree murder and first-degree robbery in the death of 22-year-old Daniil Maksimenko.
According to police, three men approached Maksimenko and shot him in the head while he was delivering a pizza in the 2100 block of Erick.

A third person, Shermell A. Crockett, 22, has also been charged in Maksimenko’s death. Crockett entered a “blind plea”, meaning no deal was reached with prosecutors. Crockett will be sentenced on Oct. 8.
Police say Williams and Woods agreed to testify that Crockett shot Maksimenko.
