Rather Annoyed Content Creator Explains How YouTube is Throwing Userbase Under Bus

So YouTube just shilled out a metric assload of money to get a group of major celebrities on their platform while saying “up yours” to their actual users (the only exception was a popular slow motion channel on YouTube – however it is run by a guy who came to fame for his working with gaming entertainment company Rooster Teeth) in an attempt to compete with companies like Netflix.

It’s a big gamble to enter the already crowded market of subscription “original series” services, while sacrificing their own base (the “You” part of “YouTube”).
