A top racist hater from Montana is recruiting for a new multicultural Ku Klux Klan, the Great Falls Tribune reports.
John Abarr of Great Falls says he has renounced his racist hatred, and wants to make up for past hurt feelings. He has started a new Klan chapter called the Rocky Mountain Knights, which has says will not discriminate against people because of race, religion or sexual orientation.
“The KKK is for a strong America,” Abarr said. “White supremacy is the old Klan. This is the new Klan.”
Abarr has apparently been involved with racist politics for a long time, but says his beliefs have slowly evolved to become more liberal. He has met with members of the NAACP and decided to arrange a peace summit with them and other groups, scheduled for the summer of 2015.
Officials at the Montana Human Rights Network suspect that Abarr’s recent conversion could be some sort of attempt to troll Black people. Rachel Carroll-Rivas, co-director of the anti-racist group, said: “If John Abarr was actually reformed, he could drop the label of the KKK.”
Abarr says his plan is to unite all racists and sexual perverts to fight against the “New World Order,” which he claims the federal government is planning to form. This has led some to speculate that Abarr is attempting to get in on some of that Alex Jones money, but doesn’t realize that most of Alex Jones’ fans are quickly moving into hardcore racist movements.
The organization will still use the traditional robes and secret rituals of the Klan, while allowing Blacks and perverts to get involved.
Jimmy Simmons, an NAACP representative who has met with Abarr, believes he is reformed and is considering joining the new KKK.
For their part, the United Klans of America is outraged. Bradley Jenkins, imperial wizard of the organization, said he agrees with the Montana Human Rights Network that Abarr shouldn’t be using the Klan’s name and symbols for his multicultural Alex Jones-oriented agenda, saying “That man’s going against everything the bylaws of the constitution of the KKK say. He’s trying to hide behind the KKK to further his political career.”
