The establishment is foaming at the mouth trying to stop our man Roy Moore!
They’re pulling out all the stops to prevent Roy Moore from winning the Alabama Senate race. A retired Marine colonel named Lee Busby just announced a last minute write-in campaign. This is the equivalent of what Evan McMullin tried to do against Donald Trump in last year’s presidential election. It couldn’t be any more transparent and the chances of it working are slim.
With only two weeks to go until the special election for the U.S. Senate seat in Alabama, Lee Busby, a 60-year-old retired Marine colonel who previously served as a top aide to White House chief of staff John Kelly, is launching a write-in campaign as a conservative option for many conflicted voters.
In an interview with the Washington Post, the Tuscaloosa native said that he sees an opportunity to win a good chunk of the votes on Dec. 12 and prevent both Republican Roy Moore and Democrat Doug Jones from representing the state.
“I think you can flip this thing. If this were a military operation, the left flank and the right flank are heavily guarded,” Busby told the Post. “I think that gives you an opportunity to run straight up the middle.”
The establishment thought they could sink Moore’s campaign with a slew of unproven and ridiculous sex abuse allegations. Since that effort has failed, they’re hoping this write-in campaign will swing enough votes away from Moore to elect Jones. There’s a reason why the Washington Compost did a major interview with Busby. They’ve been at the forefront of trying to sink Moore’s candidacy and this is a last ditch effort to do just that.
The people of Alabama need to get behind Moore. The corrupt Washington DC establishment ranging across both parties are doing everything possible to prevent him from winning. A Moore victory would send a strong message to all the Republican cucks that the populist movement that started with Trump is not going away.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell who has opposed Moore from the start, has claimed that the only way forward is to elect fellow cucks who don’t stand for anything. A Moore victory would totally debunk this message and give momentum to other populist candidates trying to win seats in Congress.
Moore might have the entire world against him, but he’s still in a good position to win.
