Liz Wahl, an awkward, bumbling American presenter for the Kremlin-funded Russia Today news station resigned from the network Wednesday, live on-air.
In her weird attempt to be dramatic, she appeared to be citing the fact that her parents were from Hungary as the key reason for the decision. She went on to mention unclear complaints about the Tsar, claiming that the station “whitewashes” his actions.
Though experts have speculated that Wahl was menstruating, or is perhaps even pregnant, it appears to me that this was a shrewd career move. Presumably, she saw the attention that was given to Abby Martin on Monday when she criticized Putin’s actions in Crimea, and figured she could stir up some controversy which would result in her getting hired on a real network.
Surely, neither Martin or Wahl can be so stupid as to actually believe that Putin is not justified in protecting the people of Crimea from the violent Jewish revolution? They have access to this information, which the media of the West is covering up.
While Wahl’s statement about her Hungarian refugee parents was incoherent, Martin’s simply made no sense. “I can’t stress how strongly I am against any state intervention in a sovereign nation’s affairs – what Russia did is wrong” she said as if unaware that Putin’s occupation of Crimea was a response to the US having funded terrorist Jews to overthrow the government. RT has reported all of these facts, so surely she knows about the Klitschko emails, the IDF soldiers, the USAID money, Maidan using snipers to shoot itself, and so on and on.
However, Abby Martin, while quite probably the most beautiful woman in the world, has the good excuse of being completely insane, as is evidenced by her degenerate artwork which she displays on her personal website.
After making the strange statements in support of Barack Obama and the revolution of Jewkraine, Martin retweeted a quote from degenerate artist Vincent van Gogh, tacitly admitting that she is mentally ill.
The comments she made while apparently reading from a teleprompter, which indicates she had her producer’s approval, despite the act that she had gone rogue, sticking it to the Moscow Man in defense of the downtrodden and oppressed black man in the White House. When the network announced that they would be sending her to Crimea to witness things first hand – and report – I thought it had been a fakeout, where see would see that Russians had only gone to Crimea to protect the people from the revolution, and apologize and ask Putin’s forgiveness for having doubted him.
But apparently she has refused to go.
From Huffington Post (which, by-the-by, is a Jew operation which is in full support of democratically elected government of the Ukraine being overthrown by terrorists against the will of the people of that nation):
Yesterday the Washington-based host tweeted that she was not going to Crimea “despite the statement RT has made.”
“First I get called a “Russian propagandist” for toeing the RT line, now I am getting vitriol from people claiming I “sold out” to Western imperialism because I voiced an opinion that I believe in,” she posted on her Facebook page.
“I am against military intervention. Period. And no, I am not going to Crimea.”
Margarita Simonyan, the editor-in-chief of Russia Today, also posted a Russian version of Martin’s statement.
“From the beginning I opposed US intervention in the affairs of Ukraine, but none of my comments never caused excitement in the mainstream,” the Russian version said. “So in a sense, I’m actually sad that they caught the world’s attention ONLY for my criticism of Russia’s actions, because I was going in the ‘right direction’.”
“RT was created in order to promote the Russian point of view on world events, and my personal statement is at odds with the editorial policy. But I continue to hold the same opinions as what I said.
“In the corporate media, there is almost no criticism of corporations or American empire. That’s why I work here, at RT, and it is an honour for me. Yes, RT offered me the chance to go to the Crimea to report at the scene, but I refused. Do not worry, I was not fired.”
This is in itself bizarre – why would anyone not want to be in Crimea right now?
Russia Today is a Complete Mess
I have no idea what is going on with Russia Today. The network was founded by to push Russian propaganda abroad, but it sometimes seems confused about what it is doing. Though I like the website quite a bit, the television network has no comprehensive, clear agenda, and can be terribly liberal. They do some pretty cool stuff on various conspiracies, cover real issues such as Monsanto and the collapse of society, they also often take a positive view of gays, Muslims and other undesirables.
Though Putin has no influence on the content, it seems that those making the decisions feel that a liberal message is the best way to try and promote the message to liberal Americans. But they even gave that filthy Jew Adam Kokesh a show. Fired him pretty quickly too.
Apparently, the idea is that as long as a pro-Russian message is presented, it doesn’t matter what else is on the channel. However, I would think they would be able to do the pro-Russian message without all of the liberal crap (Russia is not a liberal country). If I were they, I would be appealing to American conservatives, rather than… whoever it is they are appealing to now.
I would just like to throw this out there: I would absolutely accept a job as managing editor of RT, and might even consider taking on a job as a host if they paid me $5,000 a day and threw in a date with Abby Martin.
