We also learned you can get away with treason, if you have the right connections.
What’s interesting to observe at this point, is that all the deception and distortion we experienced during this election by the media and liberal establishment wasn’t merely a cynical plot to manipulate the outcome of the vote.
In fact, these people seem to have been put under their own spell, firmly in denial about even the possibility that Trump could win. In other words, they actually believed their own lies.
A bunch of shows had to scramble at the last-minute to change their contents because they hadn’t even planned for the eventuality that Trump might win.
Mic:
One of the subtler effects of Donald Trump’s unexpected victory to be the next president of the United States was the ways in which some TV shows had to quickly adjust their narratives. This was seen almost immediately in late night coverage airing live on Tuesday, in which The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah assumed an unanticipated, sobering tone after both had clearly prepared for a Hillary Clinton win.
Problem :DDDD?
This appears to be the case for Comedy Central’s South Park, which is poised to work another last-minute rewrite for Wednesday’s episode. The show’s website had previously teased an episode titled “The Very First Gentleman,” an obvious nod to Bill Clinton’s role in the White House under a presumptive Clinton victory (plus, given South Park’s tone, surely a dig at his lecherous past).
Can you believe it? They hadn’t even planned for the possibility of a Clinton loss…
Talk about being in denial!
Hey! Cease this blasphemy against Pepe, Jew! The smug frog pose is ours.
But with a Trump win, get ready instead to watch “Oh, Jeez.”
They’ve shared a 29-second clip of the episode, in which a tense Marsh family dinner turns sour at the prospect of a Trump presidency: “We’ve learned that women can be anything,” Randy says. “Except for president.”
Ooosh, can you feel the butthurt?
Also, is it hard to understand that Hillary’s loss had less to do with the fact that she’s a woman, and more to do with the fact that she’s a pathological liar, unrepentant criminal and has a terrible personality?
It’s hard to feel empathy for these liberal retards who couldn’t see Trump’s victory coming. I mean, they could have just read the Daily Stormer or listened to Fash the Nation.
Now, people will have a pretty good way of telling apart the vulgar propaganda outlets from the real bastions of journalistic integrity. On one side, you have the clowns who gave Trump a 5% chance of winning (the mainstream media), while on the other, you have those who’ve steadily predicted a Trump win (us).
