Salah Abdeslam, famous for having masterminded the recent terrorist attack in Paris, is resigning from the US Presidential race.
Abdeslam, a Republican, did not say during his announcement on the Bret Baier show whether or not the decision to drop out of the race was connected to the backlash from the terrorist attack he carried out in France.
He referred to “unpopular policies,” which many took to mean killing people on the streets. It is unclear if he thought the Paris attack would boost his support.
