Apparently calling for a nuclear war with Russia to save Ukrainian democracy, Sarah Palin just broke ahead of John McCain in the crazy contest.
Apparently calling for a nuclear war with Russia to save Ukrainian democracy, Sarah Palin just broke ahead of John McCain in the crazy contest.

Sarah Palin, living up to her reputation as a figure indistinguishable from an unhinged Jew-ridden neoconservative psychopath and a parody of such, has stood up at CPAC and told Obama that he needs to “stop Putin with nukes.”

From News.com.au:

Failing to show peace through strength has allowed some “very, very, very bad dudes (to) gain ground”, said Palin, who remains a darling of the far-right.

Obama “would gut our arsenal while he allows others — enemies — to enrich theirs”, she said.

“Mr President, the only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke.”

I have no idea what this is supposed to mean.  Is she literally saying that Obama should threaten to nuke Moscow?  Because Putin has threatened the democracy of the Ukraine?

I mean, we have nukes, Putin knows we have nukes.  To say what she said, she appears to be calling for a nuclear war.  I don’t know how else to interpret that statement.  The context doesn’t make it any easier.

This is the entire speech:

She also said: “There are no free Fritos.”  That was in the context of her attacks on Obamacare.

Then she read a parody of Dr. Suess’ Green Eggs and Ham.

“I do not like this Uncle Sam. I do not like his healthcare scam,” Palin said. “I do not like these dirty crooks or how they lie and cook the books. I do not like when Congress stills. I do not like their crony deals. I do not like the spying man. I do not like ‘Oh yes we can.’ I do not like this spending spree. We’re smart we know there’s nothing free. I do not like reporters’ smug replies when I complain about their lies. I do not like this kind of hope. And we won’t take it, nope, nope, nope. Hat tip the Internet.”
