Since Trump is literally Hitler, it’s important to give them an politically slanted liberal indoctrination.

Liberals are having something of a quandary right now. They spent the last 50 years making all forms of “intolerance” unthinkable, and reshaped society into a politically correct padded prison cell in which nobody can say anything true, lest feelings get hurt. And all of that work is being undone in record time by the Trump campaign.

So they have an epic struggle to keep up; how do you keep brainwashing kids into thinking “bigotry” is unacceptable, when clearly it’s now cool, hip and wildly successful?

Trump: evil, or totally awesome?

New York  Times:

For all of Hillary Clinton’s issues as a candidate, Donald J. Trump offers a classroom challenge most have never before encountered.

This spring, a report from the Southern Poverty Law Center found that the Trump campaign “is producing an alarming level of fear and anxiety among children of color and inflaming racial and ethnic tensions in the classroom.

In a post for WBUR’s Cognoscenti site, “Teaching Trump: Rethinking Civic Education In Turbulent Times,” Mike Kalin argues that “Trump’s vitriolic rhetoric, and his history of demonizing marginalized groups, obligates teachers to reconsider their beliefs about how to approach civic education.

In normal English, that means teachers need to forget about being non-political when teaching toddlers, and just go full partisan. And what if the parents are Trump supporters? Then the teachers will turn the kids against them.

So what?

The parents are evil anyway.

If your parents don’t support Lenin Hillary, then report them to the KGB CPS!

On the Huffington Post, Alan Singer has additional suggestions for teachers, and frames them with this:

Our obligation is not to maintain some abstract form of “balance” in the classroom, but to to help students become critical thinkers who learn to listen to others, evaluate their statements carefully and respectfully, and support conclusions with evidence. If one of the candidates and his or her supporters are shown to be lacking by this standard, that is the fault of the candidate, not of the teacher.

Wow, a Huffington Post writer who supports Donald Trump? I would never have guessed that that could be possible. After all, if he supports critical thinking and reasoning from evidence, that can only lead in one direction.

Now, jokes aside, of course they don’t intend to teach kids “critical thinking.”

lol

That hasn’t been on the curriculum since at least the 60’s. Critical thinking tends to lead to Nazism, after all.

No, this new “classroom approach” is just going to be straight-up brainwashing, you can be sure of that. Those of you with kids better start paying attention to what the teachers are saying in class in the following months.

It would be really helpful if we could get some fellow shitlords in the school boards and start applying pressure, wouldn’t it be?
