Well, Scotland voted “no” on independence.  By ten percent.

I never really understood what was going on there anyway, other than that a lot of people in Scotland really hate the English.  But it seemed like a pretty stupid idea.

I guess if they’d voted “yes,” it could have had some interesting effects around the world, but it just would have wrecked their own economy and served no real purpose that I can see.  It wasn’t as if they were calling for a withdraw from the EU and a ban on immigration.  It seemed to just be “bloody English, mate, can’t stand the bastards.”

Anyway, I’m glad we’re going to be finished hearing about it.
