I know a lot of readers and right-wingers in general disagree with me on this point, but I am extremely worried that if Trump is bullied into firing Rosenstein, this will amount to handing a gun to all of these kikes trying to lynch him.
You see what happened with Comey – it opened this whole Russian kookspiracy witch hunt.
Rosenstein’s kinsman Adam Schiff is openly threatening that this will be the outcome.
Under no circumstances should Rod Rosenstein resign. This would place the Mueller investigation in even greater jeopardy. Rosenstein should continue to do his job, protect the independence of the DOJ, and if the President intends to obstruct justice, force Trump to fire him.

The President’s defense team is rooting for him to fire Rosenstein, saying it should mean a “time out” in the Mueller investigation.@SpeakerRyan and @SenateMajLdr, it’s time for a vote on legislation to protect Mueller and the rule of law. No more hiding. No more excuses. https://t.co/MeE1PEJYa7

It could be a bluff. I don’t know. But there is enough of a chance that they – with their total control over the media – will be able to frame this in an extremely damaging way.
Rosenstein said yesterday he was planning to resign, then he said he wasn’t and would meet Trump first. The setup is that Trump looks weak if he doesn’t fire him. If he does, whatever hell is going to be unleashed, as it will pretty much make it impossible for the Mueller probe to not end.
The best option is for Jim Jordan and Matt Gaetz to force Rosenstein to testify under threat of impeachment proceedings.
