Smart Colombian President Spits Straight Facts: Cocaine is No Worse Than Whiskey

If it were not for the blacks using cocaine to make crack, there wouldn’t really be a viable argument for banning cocaine.

It’s certainly nowhere near as dangerous as marijuana. Virtually all marijuana use is habitual, with users using it every day, whereas cocaine is not especially habit-forming, and is usually only used at parties or with friends on the weekend.

Cocaine can cause serious health problems, but so can virtually every type of “food product” sold in the United States.

I don’t encourage the use of cocaine, but people must have some kind of freedom.

RT:

Colombian President Gustavo Petro has claimed that cocaine is no worse than whiskey, arguing that the drug’s illegality stems from its Latin American origin rather than its effects. Petro made the remarks amid tensions with US President Donald Trump’s administration over deportation policies and recent threats to impose trade tariffs.

Colombia has long been associated with cocaine production, with significant portions of the global supply originating from the country. The drug is made from the leaves of the coca plant, native to Latin America.

Cocaine is illegal not because it’s worse than whiskey, but because it’s produced in Latin America,” Petro said during a cabinet meeting on Tuesday. The president apparently used whiskey for the comparison because the US is a leading producer and exporter.

Petro went on to argue that the “business” from criminal organizations engaged in drug trafficking could be “easily dismantled if cocaine were to be legalized around the world.”

It could be sold like wine,” he said, claiming that the profits could be used to prevent underage consumption.

It was sold like wine, historically.

That was never considered a problem.

Why did it become a problem?

Because there was a lot of money to be made, and a lot of freedom to be stolen from the American people, by declaring a “drug war.”

These people in the US government do not care about your health. They allow every kind of poison to be dumped into your water supply, they allow food companies to sell you poison with no warning label, they try to force-inject you with an experimental gene therapy. There simply is not a serious argument that these government people are so concerned about your health that they have to protect you from cocaine by sending you to prison to deal with the blacks.

Drug abuse is a social problem. It is not a legal issue. Junkies should be imprisoned because they are a cancer on society, but that should not impinge on everyone else’s freedoms, nor should drug laws be used to create a massive criminal underworld that the federal government is able to make billions from.

The “drug war” is a result of the establishment of all of these intelligence agencies that effectively function like secret societies and operate as criminal gangs. If cocaine was the same price as coffee, no one would be making billions of dollars off of it, and if it were legal, private prisons would have a serious deficit of inmates.

This whole drug thing is yet another gigantic scam, especially when it comes to cocaine.

Fentanyl possession being a crime is a much easier argument to make, but it’s effectively been decriminalized, while the US government somehow blames China for the fact that we’ve got junkies all over the streets making a complete mess.

Marijuana use is encouraged among the youth, despite the fact that it makes people into zombies.

None of this is designed to help you or your health. The entire US government operates as a criminal gang intent on harming the US population as much as they possibly can, so even engaging with it as if it is a serious institution in any way leads to ridiculousness.
