Social Isolation is Worse Than Cancer – Join a Stormer Book Club Today!

the darkest reaches of the internet

I came across this story today.

inews:

Having a small social network is as bad for your health as smoking, according to a new study.

Researchers from Yale University showed that a person’s position in the social network is associated with blood markers of stress. They discovered that the more people who would call you a friend the lower the levels of fibrinogen, a predictor of heart attack and stroke, in your blood.

The association between social isolation and fibrinogen is comparable to the effect of smoking, and greater than that of low education, a conventional measure of socioeconomic disadvantage, the scientists said. What matters is how others see us, not how we see them.

And I was like “wow, this is another great reason people need to join their local Stormer Book Club!”

Right now, we’ve got branches formed or in the process of forming in every state except maybe Alaska or something and most countries in Europe.

I outlined on announcing the SBCs the types of things which they will involve. If you missed it, you can read the original post and see if it’s something you’d be interested in.

You will be.

If you’re not yet a member of the forum, it’s easy to sign-up. And everyone who’s reported in so far with regards to meet-ups has been very positive. I’ve gotten a lot of reports, and not a single negative one yet.

GET ON IT.

Send Ur Deeds

To all yall already meeting, you should take pics and give write-ups. I’m gonna start doing a weekly report with people’s GLORIOUS DEEDS and pics. Make sure to black-out your faces of course, and be careful with guys with tattoos.

Face cover.

Also, I know a lot of people are complaining about the forum being messy. We’re going to fix that. I can tell you that much. But for now, just either scroll or use the search function. It isn’t that hard.

If you have a thread already though, please clean up the name of it.

Just do this format:

For US:

City, State

For non-US:

City, Country

Some people are saying the country should be first, but the majority of them are in the US, so it doesn’t make much sense.

In the future, I’m probably going to do sub-forums for different countries, but I don’t currently have time to do that. There will also be a directory. But anyway, fam, it’s not hard to figure out how it is. There are, like, 200-and-something threads, which means it takes make 75 seconds to carefully scroll.

And if you don’t find your city, make a new thread.

We all need human contact, and a lot of people are feeling very isolated, just connecting with each other on the internet. This solves that problem.

You will not regret it.

Hail Victory.
